- The rod features a longer fore grip and longer extension butt for 1 or 2 handed casting.
- The reel seat is anodized with two lock rings. There is a gasket between the rings to prevent them from coming loose.
- The rod also has a folding hook keeper. The blank is made from IM8 graphite and has a clear finish with a dark brown tint. The chrome plated stainless steel guides are wrapped with dark brown thread.

Otis W.on 05 Nov 2009 at 9:04 am 1This is a great looking rod, but the problem I encountered was that it was very tip-heavy. The reel I put on it wasn’t the heaviest, but even so I had to do some major modifications in order to make it balance correctly. I think a few tweaks in design and this could be a good product.
