The first thing I want to say is that the warranty offered by this company is 100% genuine. I broke the tip section of my rod shortly after receiving it and the people at Wild Water really went out of their way to get a new one to me quickly and without hassle. OK, on to the rod itself. I think this fly rod is a great deal. It’s light, casts a tight loop and is really nice looking, too. It has a dark green blank, good components and an attractive wood reel seat. Add in a really nice rod tube and free shipping and you can’t go wrong, especially at this price. So far I’ve used it on a small stream for smallmouth, but it’s main job will be lake fishing for peacock bass. It will also be my travel rod for trout. This would be a great backup rod for people who can afford to have things like a backup rod and it’s a great front line rod for the rest of us. I would definitely buy from this company again.
