What is the smallest size fly this fly fishing line use?

I am a beginner in fly fishing and am looking for my first rod, I think i can found a good one but I want to catch panfish and am wondering what is the smallest fly a 230 grain line (it is in a outfit, http://www.reelflyrod.com/product.sc?productId=1032&categoryId=133) and I am worried that the smallest flies it can use would be too small for some fish’s mouths and that would be kind of a waste of money.

I bought one a few years back for about 40 bucks which was a Shakespear setup and I still love using it. It came with the rod, reel, line, backing, and dry/wet flies (everything you need). I believe Wal Mart still carries that same setup actually. As I said, I still like using it and it still works just as good as it ever did. After you get the hang of that and decide you like it that’s when it’s time to upgrade to the nicer stuff.

Only the real heavy ‘Bass Bugs’ become a problem when casting if you have to light of a rod & line. What your tying your fly/lure to is the leader or tippet not the fly line.
I have run into some really small dry flies #16 or less that I have a hard time getting a good hook set on a strike. I’ve lost some really beautiful Trout while they were dancing on the water with small dry flies. But on some days that all they touch.
