artsnflieson 13 Jan 2010 at 3:57 pm 1Half-hitches work too. But you’re often left with a nub at the end. And if you’re head cement isn’t good a half-hitch can become un-done.
Jeter2rocks111on 13 Jan 2010 at 4:33 pm 2ill be ohnest i will never use one. its just that it makes it seem kind of artificial? i know it sounds funny but i look at it this way… its like using a idicator. it takes away from the fine art of fly fishing as well as fly tying. Look at a river runs through it. no indicators, no whip finish tools, just double half hitches.
