If you’d like to know where the streams are in the park buy this book. If you are looking for reliable guidance, beware, this information in this book is dated. I don’t believe that you will find much better information anywhere else though.

My book is pretty used, as I take it everytime I go in the Park to fly-fish because it offers information on what flies work and at what time of the year. One of these days I'll have to have stop in at Blue Ribbon Flies in West Yellowstone and have Craig autograph a new book for my library because I spilt coffee all over this one. It's a good book for anyone wanting the Yellowstone fly-fishing experience. The only other books I refer to when fishing Yellowstone is "Fishing Yellowstone Rivers" by the late-great Charles E. Brooks and "Western Fly-Fishing Strategies" by Craig Mathews. This book is a little dated, but none-the-less, a valuable resource with a wealth of information for the novie to the experience angler.
