Any idea of a good way to patch this or should i just get new waders. Also i am on a limited budget so should i get new waders or my own fly rod and reel( i have been using my uncles). I only have money for one or the other.

My friend took his out a second time and they started cracking and leaking where the rubber boot meets the polyester pants. They are Frogg Toggs from Sportsmans Warehouse. Does anybody have any input on this? He spent a lot of time in the water at 42 degrees F. Should I be careful about letting the cheap rubber get too cold? Is this a common problem? thanks for your answers.
