Fly Fishing Rods

if you have read this book i need help i don’t understand it and i really need help thank you so much

When I cast, my fly line always seems to bundle up the farther away it gets from my rod. Please help me correct my problem. (Any other tips concerning casting greater distances would be helpful) Thanks!
