Fly fishing combines an understanding of natural sciences and artistry, and advances skills of observation, coordination, and patience in those who practice it. Learn to fly fish on the scenic Saluda River in Irmo, SC. Each three-day session includes instruction in fly casting, entomology, fly tying, “reading the water” to find fish, and how to wade and approach fish. All tackle, equipment, and flies are provided. Instructor, Michael Frank, is an elementary school teacher and owner and lead guide of Frank’s Fly Arts fly fishing guide service who makes learning to fly fish simple and fun.
