MrJumBowon 20 Jul 2010 at 5:40 pm 1I have a fish finder hatch just in front of me. I laid down a towel and took one of the latch straps to secure the camera. Not much of a mount, but I guess it worked okay. I will have to dream up something better in the future. Thanks for the review
MrJumBowon 20 Jul 2010 at 6:36 pm 2Well I tell ya Menego, trying to capture videos while driving a kayak is quite a challenge at times. I RUINED a perfectly good digital camera once because I rolled over in my boat (lol) Thanks for the review
ANTIKORPproductionson 20 Jul 2010 at 7:03 pm 3great cam mount position! 5starz!!!
Menego17on 20 Jul 2010 at 7:54 pm 4That’s really good! A very nice video, i’ve never seen this kind of videos on youtube and it’s really cool!
MrJumBowon 20 Jul 2010 at 8:25 pm 5Gerry, I certainly appreciate the kayak movie review. I pulled that one together from archives that I captured a few years ago
:)
MrJumBowon 20 Jul 2010 at 8:38 pm 6I am just afraid that I am too skinny to be like a Jesse Ventura. My voice maybe but that’s about it (lol)
MrJumBowon 20 Jul 2010 at 9:07 pm 7Well the problem is with the Yellowstone River is that you are never really “alone”. There are lots of folks that like to float that body of water
MrJumBowon 20 Jul 2010 at 9:41 pm 8I am glad you liked the kayak movie file. I dang near kill myself doing stuff like this (lol)
canajianon 20 Jul 2010 at 9:56 pm 9Jimmy !!!
Great video!!!
*****
Fitzilloon 20 Jul 2010 at 10:37 pm 10WOa! I thought that was Jesse Ventura there for a second!
Nice vid.
dpsa98on 20 Jul 2010 at 10:43 pm 11Your videos are fantastic. I would love to float down the river by myself like that. So peasefull.
MrJumBowon 20 Jul 2010 at 11:33 pm 12I appreciate the kind comments and for the review. I once “rolled” that kayak and THAT was not so much fun. Ruined a digital camera while I was at it (lol) I am glad you liked the movie file
MrJumBowon 20 Jul 2010 at 11:56 pm 13Well to be honest, the water was swirling at that point in time so therefore my kayak got turned around some. That particular capture was not so hard to do. Thanks for the review
MrJumBowon 21 Jul 2010 at 12:07 am 14Yes, there are lots of spots along the Yellowstone River where a person can beach the kayak, sit under some shade OR fly fish from foot. Thanks for the review
jjbuild42on 21 Jul 2010 at 12:48 am 15love it Mr. Jumbrow!!!!
flipzout100on 21 Jul 2010 at 1:23 am 16That was a nifty 360 you gave us there Jim. Awesome!
Attrezz0on 21 Jul 2010 at 1:27 am 17Looks like a fun time JJ and a nice workout! Relaxing once you find a nice spot I guess too.
MrJumBowon 21 Jul 2010 at 1:51 am 18Well I am quite certain the you are running under a Windows based PC. I use a MAC, of course. Whenever I capture a video, then I just RE-SAVE it using Quicktime Pro. It as this point in time that a person can save the video in the HD 480p format. Quicktime for Windows is a free download and maybe (???) you can do the same thing as well. This is really a file CONVERSION from the native codec to 480p is all. However, I am thinking that you need QUICKTIME PRO to get this job done
BuschTukkerManon 21 Jul 2010 at 2:09 am 19hey great video again Jim i really enjoyd it, nice area like always:)
ok i also want to ask you something Jim how can i get this new feature from youtube with the button 480p & 360p on my videos can you maybe explane that to me?
thanks Jim have great day
5 stars for you bro like always
MrJumBowon 21 Jul 2010 at 2:30 am 20I compiled another version of this same video which had music embedded in it. However YouTube would NOT allow me to post it due to their stupid copy right laws and all that. SO, I rendered out this one without any music
MrJumBowon 21 Jul 2010 at 2:38 am 21Well the particular digital camera I was using at that time finally got RUINED due to the fact that I rolled this kayak once in very fast water. Bummer (lol)
MrJumBowon 21 Jul 2010 at 3:36 am 22Well Vapor, this area that I live in IS beautiful, however that Yellowstone River CAN be rather dangerous in a kayak. I already “rolled” that big vessel once and almost drowned myself (lol)
MrJumBowon 21 Jul 2010 at 3:45 am 23Kayaking is a sport that is rather tough to master. I surely appreciate the review. Have a nice day
MrJumBowon 21 Jul 2010 at 3:54 am 24Once again, I thank you for the review. Manning kayaks and trying to run a digital camera at the same time is a pain in the rear end (lol)
MrJumBowon 21 Jul 2010 at 4:27 am 25I appreciate the kind comment. This video file was a re-edit job from a release that I did back in 2008
