Danjostaon 19 Dec 2009 at 9:59 am 6What i would suggest for fresh water is a okuma sierra reel,a echo series fly rod(8 foot 6 inch) for a 6-7 weight range.One thing i can`t stress too much is to MATCH the fly line to the rod.This will allow the most enjoyment in learning this sport.Look up his and hers fly shop in newport beach,ca.-tight lines!
