Definitely my favorite Pyramid Lake Vid of the whole lot. This one really captured a lot of the ambiance of what fishing Pyramid Lake is all about.

Man, we had some good conditions for fishing last year. There were a lot of windy choppy days. Those big fish like to come in on those conditions. The trophy mouse we duped with peanut butter that turned his nose up to even the most well presented bread really iced off the trip.

@trouttrek Obviously I was just hacking on you! Agreed people like Mike are the reason I keep going back! It is definitely a fishery where everyone helps one another. Mike knows the lake better than most and it shows with that 12 lb lahontan.

@H8UZNB8 Though Mike’s weenie’s appear teeny in the photo, his hospitality was “larger than life!” As you know, this lake and it’s Monster Cutts are amazing. The “experience” of the fishery is enhanced greatly by the comraderie/friendships made with fellow anglers on the beach. This is the most friendly community of fisherman you will meet! Shore luches, shared flies, beers around the camp fire and, of course, the possibility of a 10 lb. trout w/every cast! God Bless Nevada! See ya there soon!

awesome fish guys, it takes a good sportsman to release fish

ohhhhhh Yeah that was awesome. One question though, why are Mike’s weenie’s so small? All that fishing and all he makes you is tiny weenies and a mouse? Must be that Pyramid Lake hospitality! Great job guys. Congrats Mike and Vance on two huge Lahontans!
