fishguru73on 27 Dec 2009 at 7:33 am 2You’re right. It isn’t that hard. People make it more complicated then it needs to be. I takes alot of practice to get past mentally preconcieved notions and just start casting smoothly with accuracy and control. Once you master the basics you start wanting to use a fly rod for everything. It isn’t universally great in all situations, but it’s the best way to present to any fish in shallow and clear water with a very natural look.
