ok, i fish bellow this dam and there is really BIG brown trout jumping in the air. i tried a lure called panther martin #1 and i tried fly fishing. is there a specific fly they will only bite on? will they bite on a crayfish?

I’m going to a dam or along a river, and I don’t fly fish…what are the best lures to use to catch trout? Do i need something to protect my line from their teeth?

I have gone trout fishing about 7 times i have a very nice fly rod and i catch around 6-7 trout every time which are about 12-in long but i was wondering if there were any good trips and tricks that u guys know that could help me thanks
